With the IPC-B and the IPC-ECO, two systems are available as 19-inch servers for use in industrial applications. Up to 14 slots are provided for a variety of plug-in cards, and the systems can also be used as a raid with several SSDs for high data security. Extensive measures have been taken to ensure EMC safety, e.g. beryllium springs and HF seals. This makes the IPC-B particularly suitable for measurement technology and electromagnetically contaminated environments. The positive pressure ventilation ensures that the housing is free of dust thanks to a filter mat that can be changed from the outside without tools.
